Junior Mechanical Estimator - Dublin
JUNIOR MECHANICAL ESTIMATOR - ENGINEERING CONTRACTOR - DUBLIN

Are you a Mechanical Estimator with 1+ year experience working with
engineering consultancies or construction contractors?

This is a permanent role based in Dublin

You will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of accurate
mechanical cost estimates, playing an important role in our project
success.

You will report directly to the Estimating Manager, supporting the
analysis of project specs and other documentation to help create
detailed cost assessments.

This role is a great opportunity to grow within a supportive team,
where attention to detail and a solid work ethic are key.

Office-based role, assisting estimators with quantifying mechanical
services from drawings to develop a complete and compliant overall
tender figure.

Perform quantity take-offs and populate pricing documents.

Issue work packages to suppliers and sub-contractors for pricing.

Effective communication with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal
team members.

Assist in reviewing supplier and subcontractor quotes to ensure
accuracy and compliance with project specifications.

Support the Estimating Team in preparing tender submission documents.

Assist in the maintaining and updating of cost databases, ensuring
that all data is current and accurate.

REQUIREMENTS

Relevant third level qualification desirable

1 years’ experience post qualification desirable

Knowledge of a contracting environment would be advantageous

Pro-active approach to working with a team & individually.

High attention to detail

Knowledge of Microsoft *, especially excel

Willingness to learn

Ability to multitask in a vibrant office environment.
